About Casa Maestri MFM Blanco Tequila
The most awarded tequila distillery in Mexico goes by the name of Casa Maestri or Destiladora Del Valle de Tequila. The family business, founded in 2008 by Michael and Celia Maestri, quickly became one of Mexico’s largest exporters of tequila, crafting spirits using traditional methods from the finest agaves that grow in the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco. Casa Maestri MFM Blanco Tequila is distilled from 100% blue Weber agaves. After they are harvested, the agave hearts are roasted in stone ovens for 36 to 54 hours. Then, they are ground slowly, extracting the sweetest agave flavors. After fermentation, the agave juice is distilled twice, resulting in an exceptionally smooth tequila that lets the soft agave aromas and flavors shine. It’s bottled without maturation at 80 proof.
