About Peligroso Silver Tequila
This Peligroso is not really dangerous, except for the danger that you will fall madly in love with its flavors and the daring adventurous lifestyle it was made to support. This award-winning spirit is made from 100% blue agave, grown and harvested in the Highlands of Jalisco before undergoing a traditional process of tequila-making. It was distilled twice for extra clarity and smoothness and bottled at a solid AVB of 42%. Peligroso Silver does have a fair amount of heat on the nose and the palate as well. This exceptional tequila has a fairly thick mouthfeel for a blanco and has some unique flavors, such as mint, banana, and even slightly medicinal. The overall flavor is big and bold. Pepper spice enters right after some agave, and dominates the mouthful until the sweet finish of roasted agave. It won a gold medal award at a San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2011 and was named one of the “best of the best” by tequila.net in 2012.
